Hot Slices and Cold Stiffs

Last Friday, a Lower Southampton Township, Pennsylvania police department officer pulled over a 1993 Buick, driven by 24 year-old Domino's Pizza delivery man William Bethel because the vehicle did not have an inspection sticker. When the officer determined Mr. Bethel was also driving with a suspended license, he informed him that the car would be impounded. An inspection of the vehicle revealed not only a stack of pizzas waiting to be delivered, but also a stretcher, in the rear of the stationwagon. Apparently, Mr. Bethel uses the car to deliver bodies to local funeral homes in his spare time. It was determined that the 'dual use' of the automobile, did not violate any laws. However, he was fined $400 for driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate.
